Letter from the President

Sam’s Law is a state law that requires all sororities and fraternities to report the last 5 years of misconduct that include violations of anti-hazing policies, state or federal laws relating to hazing, alcohol, drugs, sexual assault, or physical assault, or the institution's code of conduct against the local chapter. I am happy to announce that the Alpha Gamma chapter has no violations in the past 5 years. For more information on Sam’s law. It is my pleasure to serve as the Washington State University Alpha Omicron Pi Collegiate Chapter President for the year of 2023-2024. I joined Alpha Omicron Pi through formal recruitment my freshman year, the second I stepped into the house I knew it would be the place I called home, the stress of the week still looming over me dissipated when I engaged in conversations with these women, there were instant connections. Those connections and relationships only grew as I became an initiated member, I have met some amazing women in this community many of whom I am proud to call sisters.I was offered to move into the chapter house second semester of my freshman year and jumped at the opportunity. As a now Junior living in the chapter house surrounded by amazing, encouraging and confident women. As someone who did not grow up with sisters AOII gave me an amazing opportunity to make to these women to serve and uplift, and they have made a vow to to not only cherish me as a member and a sister but to push me to be the best I can be. I will always have a unique bond with this chapter and cannot be happier to be serving as Chapter president for the women I call sister. Truly thank you to the women who make Alpha Omicron Pi the organization it is.As always remember “Go Cougs! Go Greek!"
